Ch-Ch-Ch-Changes

Ta-da!!  This announcement is long overdue.  In December 2010, I started working on my new look with design changes to my logo, website and blog.  However, it’s only now that I finally completed the entire brand transformation.

It all began when I hired the fabulous Breeze from Trust the Air  to design my new logo, blog and website.  She’s awesome!! I wanted my site to be clean and simple, letting the photography do the speaking and that’s exactly what she designed for me.  I’ve gone with an eggplant purple as my signature color. (I must have been channeling my inner Donny Osmond at that moment.)  It’s hip and fresh, just like me, haha!  Along with the usual menu items, session detail, galleries and pricing information, we have added a new feature to my site, Fine Art. It’s a great way for you to get unique art for your home or office.

Wrapping up the transformation (haha, literally and figuratively!) are my packaging changes.  My packaging uses recycled products and natural fibers mimicing the natural style of my photography.  I’ve used boxes from DNL Photo  and tri-fold enclosures from Mountain Cow by Envelopments.  The boxes hold 5×7 prints and the enclosures hold a client’s flash drive containing their digital files.   Both are wrapped with burlap fabric strips and enhanced with a funky twisted purple yarn.  Logo stickers are by Zazzle.

So there you have it.  Simple, Clean and Natural with a hint of Hip and Fresh, just like my photographic style.

Project 52. Week 34. Brave | Baltimore Photographer Nicole Lubin

Ah bravery.  I brainstormed… fireman, children learning to ride a bike,  diving off the high dive.  Who knew that right before my very eyes was a perfect example of bravery.  Grandma braving the ocean waves to spend time with her grandchildren.  And look at how proud she was after successfully riding the wave in!  That wasn’t the last of her bravery, a few days later she tried her hand at stand up paddle boarding.  I feel some sky diving in her future

I hope I’m as cool when I’m a grandmother.  Now head on over to my friend  Amy (Mae) Bowman, Nampa Idaho Photographer, and see her brave pictures.  Be sure to follow the link to see all of the bravery pictures in our 52 week circle.

September 2, 2011 - 12:54 pm

Amy Mae - These are AWESOME, Nicole! I completely agree and echo your ‘want to be this cool when I’m a grandmother’ sentiments. Love the expressions on her faces and let me just say, “You GO Grandma!”
