With both sets of grandparents in town it was a great time for a lifestyle session showcasing the kids playing with their favorite toys and games with their grandparents. We had story time, a game of go fish, and a theatrical production!

Music City meets Charm City

A few weeks ago my good friend and her family traveled from their home in Nashville Tennessee to visit us here in Baltimore. Our kids have been buddies since they were wee little and they picked up right where they left off a few years ago. We showed them around Charm City, taking them to our favorite spots, even making a trip to DC, hoping to get a glimpse of a premature cherry blossom or two. They gave us an intro to country music so we’re prepared when we visit Nashville. I was thrilled when she asked me to take pictures of her family as they are very near and dear to me.

Mini-sessions, they’re a wonderful way to get fresh pictures for holiday cards or gifts at a reduced price. The sessions are 30 minutes and each client gets 3 digital files to print at their convenience. Here’s are some sample sneak peeks.

This was my first time offering mini-sessions. I really enjoyed doing them and met some fabulous new clients. I will certainly be doing them again, probably in the spring.

I first met this family last fall when I took 1 year old pictures of Jake. So I was thrilled when Tara called me to say baby #2 was on the way!! Baby Mason made his debut on October 15, 11 days later pictures of his newness. Nothing is sweeter than a brand new baby!! Well, except Jake waving bye-bye to his mama in the last below.

Seriously, does it get any cuter than this one? “Bye mom!”

It was their 50th anniversary, the Golden anniversary, quite an accomplishment I’d say! Their children flew in for the special weekend and had a sneaky surprise up their sleeves. They had arranged to have their parents’ closest friends, even members of the wedding party, gather for a surprise party at their favorite watering hole Saturday night.

But before that we took family pictures. We drove all around Annapolis, laughing and reminiscing along the way. It’s clear that these boys had a great childhood. And their parents just beamed the whole afternoon, as nothing is better than having your family home.
