Madison – LaGrange Class of 2012 High School Senior

I met the gorgeous Madison during the Seniorologie Tour at the Inn at Serebe.  She works the bohemian chic look so well! Thanks to Altar’d State for providing Madison’s super cool clothes and accessories.

Leah – McDonogh Senior Spokesmodel Class of 2013

I knew after meeting Leah that she would be a PERFECT spokesmodel.   With a smile forever on her face, she’s game for anything, continually exerting positive energy.  She’s the girl we ALL want our little girls to grow up to be like.

Leah describes herself as outgoing, talkative and empathetic.   She enjoys being busy and being surrounded by people who make her laugh.  Her favorite thing to do is to travel.  She describes it as an education that you cannot get in a classroom with a teacher.  A self described hopeless romantic, her favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley, which she enjoys watching again and again.    She is an avid runner and enjoys taking all kinds of different dance classes.  She says, “I could actually dance on a dance floor with good music for the rest of my life and be perfectly happy.”  Giving back to the community, she volunteers as an assistant coach for the Baltimore County Special Olympics Swim Team.  She’s done it for 4 years so far and enjoys it so much that she hopes to continue working with the Special Olympics throughout her life.   If she were stranded on a desert island, among other things, she would want to bring her Mom.

Seriously, don’t you just LOVE her!!

Kara – North Harford Senior Spokesmodel Class of 2013

This beautiful Friends School sophomore describes herself as sometimes serious and sometimes outgoing depending on the situation.  She takes voice lessons all year long and then belts out the tunes in the school musical.  She also plays volleyball and is a peer educator for teens at Planned Parenthood.  Summer is her favorite season, preferring to spend her time in casual jean shorts and sandals but boy did she ROCK it in these dresses!

Let the High School Senior Season Begin!!

Your Class of 2013 student hasn’t even finished their junior year and already you are hearing the buzz about senior portraits.  It’s either paperwork coming home from the school or your child telling you about their friend’s newest photos.  Senior portraits are a steadfast tradition, sort of  a right of passage for our friends on the west coast and other areas of the US but somehow they are not yet commonly viewed as a necessity here.  I am going to tell you why it’s so important to mark this momentous occasion with professional portraits.

Lasting Memories

Your Class of 2013 student is getting ready to venture off into NEW challenges, whether that be college or the beginning of a career.  Just as you marked your sweet little newborn’s arrival into your family, you should also mark this milestone in life.  Capture your child as he or she is now.  We all know there is much more growing to be done, but capture your child’s personality NOW.  Is she shy?  Is he an athlete?  Is she a fashionista?   A custom photography session will capture that.  Either in person or on the telephone, we will plan your child’s session.  I will ask a lot of questions.  Then together we will brainstorm, locations, outfits, creative and artistic ways to incorporate important aspects into your session, resulting in portraits that are UNIQUELY your child.

After a senior session, your son/daughter will have an little extra spring in his/her step from the CONFIDENCE BOOST. Let’s face it all high school seniors are young and beautiful.  I love helping them see their inner and outer beauty with my boutique like portrait experience.   My approach to these sessions is to make them fun, wholesome and all about the SENIOR!  I work with a professional makeup artist who applies makeup to each of my seniors, highlighting their natural beauty and features, reflecting who they are.   Throughout the session I will share images that I’ve captured with the senior and I can tell you, it’s AMAZING to see them unfold and come out of their shell and BLOSSOM right before my camera lens.   It’s wonderful!  With a confidence, people push themselves to limits they never knew they could reach, resulting in GREAT things!!
